New Feature from Yggdrasil Allows Player to Share Their Winning Moment

A new tool from the player-facing subsection of Yggdrasil’s BOOST collection of promotional tools, BRAG, allows players to replay their winning spins and share them on social media.

With the changing digital landscape of this generation, social media has become the most powerful tool in spreading the word, be it a fleeting thought or international news; while the concept of social media was designed to provide a place for people to share their joys, successes and celebrations, it is now equally the perfect platform to promote and expand businesses. The new tool from Yggdrasil is expected to combine both those elements to the advantage of their business to business (B2B) partners.

BRAG is expected to help Yggdrasil’s B2B partners increase their online profile. This player-facing subsection of the BOOST collection of promotional tools is also expected to improve operators’ organic social media volume.

The new promotional tool allows customers to watch the replays of winning spins from their Yggdrasil slot games and share them with friends and fans on social channels, such as Facebook and Twitter. The feature, BRAG, will also encourage players to share these replays on their social media accounts.

While the news of this new feature makes all of us think “Why didn’t someone think of this sooner;” it is the first of its type in the industry. The feature is still in its infancy offering limited integration with social media; the gaming provider is working on improving the product. The product, which will initially only allow players to watch and share replays of winning rounds on Yggdrasil’s tournament leaderboard, will give players the opportunity to also share any big win or any spin from their last 10 game rounds, with the further software updates.

Early testing has shown that the tool is in fact able to deliver what it promises; it had been deemed hugely popular with players and does increase engagement, improving the overall gaming experience.

It makes sense that Yggdrasil has launched BRAG at the same time as they have announced their new network campaign tournament for the popular slot, Golden Fish Tank; the campaign is expected to cost them Eur 25,000.

The network campaign, which will run from the 12th of August 2016 to the 21st of August 2016, will be the first to include the BRAG feature alongside Yggdrasil’s BOOST promotional tools, including in-game leaderboard and in-game raffle.

The CEO of Yggdrasil Gaming, Fredrik Elmqvist, said, “There is nothing wrong with a bit of bragging, and with Yggdrasil’s new BRAG tool we are giving players the opportunity to share their success with the world.”
