Yggdrasil Signs Deal With Bwin.Party for New Content

The Isle of Man based gambling company, GVC Holding PLC, has struck a deal with Yggdrasil Gaming to supply their newly acquired operator, Bwin.Party, with their full portfolio of content.

Yggdrasil Gaming Ltd              .

Yggdrasil Gaming, market leading provider of online and mobile casino games, RNG lottery content and live lotto, is headquartered in Malta, with offices elsewhere in Europe. They have been making waves in the online gaming industry, over the past couple of years; having signed some of the biggest operators in the business, such as Betsson Group, Cherry, CO-Gaming, Gaming VC, LeoVegas, Mr Green, Vera&John, Videoslots.com and Unibet. The company has also managed to win the EGR B2B Awards in 2015, one of the most high profile awards in the betting and gaming industry.

Yggdrasil Gaming’s portfolio of products include video slots, classic and video scratch games, 3D video keno games, instant lotto express, live studio lotto, and pooled progressive jackpots. All these services are available across a multitude of platforms, including the traditional desktop platform and the more popular mobile services.

The company has also recently launched a number of new innovations – iSENSE 2.0, which is an HTML5 framework that allows operators to launch games simultaneously on desktop and mobile platforms, Infinite API that helps the operators to boost their customer engagement, Super Free Spins, which is a new promotional concept that enables online casinos to giveaway as many free spins as they wish to award their players; the product also allows the casinos to provide different number of free spins to members of different segments of their player-base.

Yggdrasil has also launched a daily live lottery draw from Malta, with a Euro 2.5 million guaranteed, progressive jackpot.

The company offers a wide range of popular casino games, which include Chibeasties, Cyrus the Virus, Cazino Zeppelin, Jokerizer, Winterberries, Reef Run, pooled progressive slot game Joker Millions and The Dark Joker Rizes; all of which will now be made available for GVC’s Bwin.Party.

What the deal involves

GVC and Yggdrasil were already in a supply deal before the former completed the acquisition of bwin.party in February of this year; now, being the full owners of the internet casino, GVC has offered Yggdrasil a new deal, which seems to be an extension of the deal they previously had both in terms of market coverage and the duration of the contract.

As a result of the deal, bwin.party will be given access to the complete suite of slots from Yggdrasil, through a direct integration; this will include some of their recent launches, including Bicicleta, Wicked Circus and Seasons, as well as progressive jackpot Joker's Millions.

Bwin.Party will also benefit from the collection of promotional tools, the award winning gaming developer has to offer; this includes products such as BOOST and the Infinite API gamification solution.

Fredrik Elmqvist, the chief executive of Yggdrasil Gaming, said, “Bwin.Party is one of the most respected operators in our industry, so it is fantastic news that they have become the latest operator to see the value in Yggdrasil’s marketing-leading games,”

He added, “This year has already been a busy one for team Yggdrasil, with new game launches, new hires and new sign-ups, and we are looking forward to forging a long and fruitful relationship with Bwin.Party.”

Liron Snir, chief product officer of GVC Holdings, said, “We are always on the search for the very best games to offer our customers, so we are delighted to have reached this agreement with Yggdrasil.

“We are certain that Yggdrasil’s innovative and engaging slots will prove a hit with Bwin.Party customers,” he added.
